JPII is a shining example of what a high school should be. There are many events and activities at the school throughout the year; however, the Low Country Boil is an amazing event. It is a wonderful time to gather with friends and the JPII family for a night of great food and fun. Honestly, the shrimp, potatoes, and corn are so delicious, and what a fun way to have dinner and not have to cook. The evening is genuinely a great time, socializing with other parents and faculty, laughing, and just growing closer as a school family. There is a raffle and an auction as well. Looking over the amazing items for raffle and auction is fun, and sometimes it turns into a fun, friendly “competition” to see who can win the auction. I have honestly made such amazing friends at this event, and we have such a great time. This has become an annual tradition, one that I look forward to each year.BECKY GOETZ

The Low Country Boil event was fun and lively. Everyone enjoyed the tasty food and the opportunity to socialize or catch up with friends. The atmosphere was energized and full of laughs. The guests loved the friendly competition as they eagerly participated in drawings and auctions, excited to win awards such as vacations and items from local crafts and businesses. As always, it was an awesome experience to gather with family, friends, and school faculty/staff.
